Dream Screen II Animation Workshop
(Ages 11-14, Grades 6-8)
The Dream Screen II Animation Program is an intensive workshop that engages students in the many aspects of animating a short movie. Working in teams, students brainstorm ideas, create storyboards, and produce their own short film using state-of-the-art animation technology! In partnership with teachers and school principals, CICFF staff design the workshop to mirror and build on the existing school culture, while connecting to the learning dynamics of each school whose children participate in the program.

Dream Screen III: Poetry in Motion
Encouraging students to read & recite poetry is a primary goal of Dream Screen III: Poetry in Motion. Our media educators come into the classroom to immerse young people in poetry; sharing famous poems & poets with children, and deconstructing the components of verse. Students then choose a poem they wish to animate, creating a film that reflects their own view of what the poem expresses.
